Kustom Amps Endorsee Bags British Blues Award

The recent British Blues Awards saw a triple win for blues rock trio, The Oli Brown Band.

Guitarist/singer Oli scooped both the Best Male Vocalist and Best Young Artist awards, whilst drummer and Regal Tip user Simon Dring was voted Best Blues Drummer.

Oli has been using Kustom amps for over a year, and recently switched from the USA built all valve 2x12 Coupe 72 combo to the Coupe 72 Hardtop Head and 4x12 cab for extra punch at his many gigs.

Says Oli “This amp has a sound like no other out there right now. It has the variety of tones and effects that I have been wanting and it's all in the one amp.” 

The band, formed in 2007, have gone from strength to strength in recent months with critical acclaim across the music press, especially for their latest album 'Heads I Win, Tails You Lose', released in April on Ruf Records.

The Oli Brown Band will continue to tour the UK throughout the rest of the year, and a major tour of Germany is planned for 2011.
